The article Christians as Sacrificial Lambs was posted yesterday at the Persecution blog. I highly recommend it as Stacy did a great job at outlining the importance of every life. So often we just glaze over at the news, breathe a quick prayer and move on. Might I recommend a journal – when you come across these news items, jot down their name and a quick note as to what happened. Grab the journal in your prayer time and go over their names, pray for those impacted, for their salvation, witness, that those being persecuted be given strength to continue.
Sometimes it seems as though there is nothing we can do about it, but we should never forget, we have a direct line to the throne room of God through prayer. We should utilize that line constantly and never forget to make use of it – never ceasing.
